[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 4일, 횡성군은 ‘탄소중립 실현’에 선제적이고 능동적으로 대처하고자 21개 부서 실․과․소장이 참석한 가운데, ‘2050 탄소중립 중심도시 조성’을 위한 전략 보고회를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 

이날 보고회는 ‘2050년 탄소중립과 2030 온실가스 감축목표’를 달성하기 위해 그동안 추진해 온 탄소중립 계속사업들에 대한 추진상황을 점검하고 2022년 신규사업을 발굴하여 활성화 방안을 공유하고 추진에 박차를 가하고자 마련됐다고 전했다.

군은 ‘청정한 자연과 함께하는 탄소중립 중심도시 횡성’이라는 비전을 정하고 '에너지 전환가속화', '미래 모빌리티 전환', '순환경제 활성화', '탄소흡수원 확대 및 저탄소 생활실천 4대 전략과 민관협력을 더한 4+1 실행전략을 수립'하였으며, 전략별로 17개 부서에서 60개(신규 21, 계속 39) 사업을 추진할 예정이고, 특히 미래차 생산역량 확충, 미래차 시장활성화 및 충전 인프라 구축 등 미래 모빌리티로의 전환을 중점적으로 추진하여, 이모빌리티 선도 도시로서 탄소중립을 견인할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
