[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 횡성군이 횡성군CCTV통합관제센터에 지능형 스마트 관제시스템을 구축하기 위한 사업 추진에 나섰다고 밝혔다.

지능형 스마트 관제시스템은 3월부터 오는 6월까지 4개월간 추진되며, 총 2억 5천만 원의 예산이 투입되어 관내 방범 CCTV 300여 대에 도입된다고 했다. 

지능형 스마트 관제시스템은 인공지능(AI)기술을 활용하여 사람, 차량, 특정 지역 등 움직임이 감지되는 CCTV 영상을 관제요원 화면에 우선 선별·표출함으로써 위험 상황을 빠르게 감지·대처할 수 있으며, 관제 사각지대 해소에 효과적이고, 또한 ‘딥러닝’ 기술을 통해 다양한 영상을 인공지능이 스스로 분석, 학습하여 데이터를 축적함으로써 사건 및 사고 조기 발견 효과가 상당하다고 전했다.

군은 시스템 구축을 위해 지난 3월 21일부터 오는 4월 15일까지 3주간 실제 운영 환경과 동일한 선별관제시스템을 임시 설치하고 제조사별 제품 테스트를 진행하고 있으며, 이 중 성능이 가장 우수한 제품을 선정하여 상반기 중 사업을 완료할 예정이라고 했다.

한편 군은 향후 위 시스템을 ‘횡성군 지역거점 스마트시티’ 조성사업과 연계하여 스마트시티 통합플랫폼을 구축하고 사물인터넷, 인공지능 분야 등에 CCTV 회선망을 활용할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
