내촌천은 서석면 수하1리·2리, 내촌면 물걸1리·2리 4개리를 흐르고 있으며, 현재 3개 구간이 단절된 상태였고, 이에 따라 군은 올해 연말까지 단절된 구간 1.5km를 정비하는 한편 내촌천을 활용해 14km에 달하는 걷는 길을 조성할 계획이라고 전했다.

착공은 수하물걸광역사업단 및 주민들의 의견을 설계에 반영, 오는 4월 실시할 예정이고, 공사가 완료되면 내촌천의 수려한 자연환경과 주변 애족의 역사, 농촌지역의 농경문화를 만끽하며 걸을 수 있는 걷기 좋은 길이 될 것으로 기대된다고 했다.
