[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 건전한 상품권 유통질서 확립을 위해 태백사랑상품권 부정유통 일제단속을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

태백시는 직원들과 협업기관으로 구성된 단속반을 편성해 상품권 가맹점이 등록제한 업종을 영위하는 경우, 실제 매출금액 이상의 거래를 통해 상품권을 수취하는 행위, 가맹점이 부정적으로 수취한 상품권의 환전을 대행하는 행위, 지역화폐 결제를 거부하거나 추가금을 요구하는 행위 등을 단속할 계획이라고 전했다.

또한, 한국조폐공사 상품권 통합관리시스템을 통해 부정유통으로 의심되는 자료를 분석해 단속을 추진할 방침이며, 단속결과, 부정유통 적발 가맹점에 대해서는 가맹점 등록 취소, 부정유통 수급액 환수, 과태료 부과 등 관련법에 따른 행·재정적 처분을 할 방침이라고 했다.

태백시 관계자는 “건전한 지역사랑상품권 유통문화 정착을 위해 가맹 점주와 이용자 모두 부정유통 일제단속 실시에 적극적인 협조를 바란다”고 말했다.
