[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 속초시가 학대피해아동의 안전한 원가정 복귀를 위하여 유관기관 간 협력체계를 구축하고 적극적인 지원에 나선다고 밝혔다.

아동학대 사건의 경우 사안에 따라 응급조치 또는 즉각 분리하여 학대가 발생한 가정에서 아동을 분리하고, 일정 기간 시설이나 위탁가정의 보호를 거쳐 원가정으로 복귀하게 된다고 했다.

속초시는 아동이 시설이나 위탁가정에서 잘 적응하고 있는지, 심리적으로 안정되어 가는지를 확인하고, 학대행위자가 보호처분을 성실히 이행하며 아동의 복귀를 위한 안전한 양육환경 마련을 위해 노력하고 있는지 유관기관과 협력하여 수시로 점검한다고 전했다.

이를 위해 속초경찰서 아동학대전담경찰관은 원가정 내·외부의 위험 요소를 사전 점검을 통해 차단하고, 강원동부아동보호전문기관은 아동과 행위자의 심층적인 사례관리를 수행하며, 또한 시 복지정책과 희망복지팀과 원가정 소재지 동주민센터는 공적 급여 및 민간자원 연계 방안을 검토한다고 했다.

이와 더불어 춘천지방검찰청 속초지청 아동학대담당 검사는 사건관리회의를 통해 행위자의 보호처분과 피해아동 지원 방안을 위한 기관 의견을 청취하고 함께 논의한다고 했다. 

한편, 속초시는 3월 15일 올해 세 번째 진행되는 아동학대 대응 정보연계 협의체 회의를 통해 2021년 발생 후 원가정 복귀가 검토되는 사건에 대하여 각 기관 간 정보를 공유하고, 아동과 행위자 간 관계 회복과 안전한 복귀를 위한 지원 방안을 논의했다고 전했다.
