[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 인구감소와 코로나 19로 인한 택시업계 경영난 해소를 위해 ‘2022년 택시 감차보상 사업’을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

태백시 택시면허대수는 올해 초 기준 314대이고 택시 총량 적정대수(5년마다 산정)는 249대로 감차대상은 65대이고, 올해 택시 감차대수는 총 10대(일반택시 10대)이며, 1대당 4,000만원의 보상이 지급된다고 했다.

보상금액은 인근 시․군의 감차보상금, 최근 2년간 태백시의 택시면허 실거래가 등을 고려해 지난해 11월 ‘태백시 택시 감차위원회’에서 결정한 가격이라고 했다.

이번 감차에 드는 비용은 국비 3,900만원, 시비 2억 6,100만원, 감차재
