[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 3월 18일까지, 고성군은 평화지역 군 장병들의 편의를 증진하고, 소상공인의 사업 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해 '2022년 평화지역 소상공인 시설 현대화 사업' 신청을 접수한다고 밝혔다.

평화지역 소상공인 시설 현대화사업은 평화지역 내 소상공인 중 민박을 제외한 숙박, 음식점, 이미용, PC방 등의 업종에 대해 내부 인테리어 시설개선 비용과 물품 구입비 일부를 지원하는 사업이라고 전했다. 

2022년 모집규모는 132개사업장 21억8백만원 규모로 업소별 2천만원 이내에서 공급가액의 80%(최대 1천6백만원)까지 지원하며, 총사업비에 대한 부가가치세는 사업주가 부담하고, 특히, 올해는 광고업을 포함한 철물점, 금은방, 여행사, 목욕탕 등 그동안 제외되었던 업종이 추가됐으며, 사업 지원대상은 공고일 현재 고성군에 주민등록이 되어있는 사업자로 해당 사업을 1년 이상 계속해 영위하고 있는 소상공인이라고 했다.

참여를 희망하는 사업자는 오는 3월 18일까지 고성군청 경제투자과에 방문해 접수하면 되고, 신청서식은 군 홈페이지에서 내려받으면 된다고 했다.

김철연 경제투자과장은 “적극적인 사업추진을 통해 코로나19의 장기화로 어려움을 겪고 있는 소상공인들에게 활력을 불어넣는 계기가 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.

고성군은 지난 2018년부터 추진해온 평화지역 시설현대화 사업을 통해 소상공인 영업시설 706개소에 105억원을 지원했다고 밝혔다.
