이번 농기계 순회수리 교육은 농기계 수리팀 2명이 편성되어 22개 마을을 대상으로 마을별 3회 연 66회를 직접 마을을 찾아가 농기계 수리는 물론, 자가정비 방법 및 올바른 농기계 사용법을 농업인에게 숙지시켜 안전사고 예방에 도움을 줄 예정이라고 했다.

또한 농기계 고장이 집중적으로 발생되는 5월과 9월에는 농작업 중 발생되는 애로사항 등을 해결하기 위해 찾아가는 농업기계 119 긴급출동 서비스를 운영한다고 했다.

속초시는 올해 수리비용으로 8천만 원의 예산을 책정하여 소형농기계는 10만 원, 대형농기계는 30만 원까지 무상수리를 해주어 농가 경영비 부담을 최소화 하고 있다고 전했다.

속초시 관계자는“농기계 순회수리 교육을 통해 영농작업에 차질이 없도록 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 말했다.
