[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 주거급여 수급자 가정의 거주환경개선과 주거안정을 위하여 2022년 주거급여 수선유지급여사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다. 

수선유지급여란 기준 중위소득 46%이하인 기초 주거급여 수급자 가구 중 자가 가구를 대상으로 하는 집수리지원 사업으로, 수급자의 가구규모, 소득인정액, 수선유지비 소요액, 주택의 노후도 등을 고려하여 경보수, 중보수, 대보수로 나누어 지원된다고 했다.

앞서, 시는 지난달 22일 한국토지주택공사 강원지역본부와 업무협약을 체결했으며, 협약을 통해 보장기관인 태백시는 주택개・보수에 필요한 사업비 부담을, 전담기관인 LH는 공사・발주・감독 등 사업 전반에 관한 업무를 수행할 예정이라고 했다. 

시는 올해 69가구(경보수 44, 중보수 20, 대보수 5)를 선정했으며 6억 1천만 원의 수선유지사업비를 투입할 예정이고, 주택의 노후도에 따라 보수를 경・중・대로 평가하여 도배, 장판 교체, 단열, 난방공사, 지붕보수, 주방 개량공사 등을 진행한다고 했다.

만약 수선유지급여를 지급받는 수급자가 주거약자인 장애인과 고령자일 경우에는 장애물 없는 생활환경 조성을 위해 필요한 편의시설이 추가적으로 지원할 수 있고, 화재 및 천재지변 등에 따른 긴급한 수선이 필요한 대상 가구는 긴급보수를 신청할 수 있다고 전했다.  

김태형 건축지적과장은 “이번 사업을 통해 주거취약가구의 집수리 비용 부담을 줄이고 안전하고 쾌적한 주거환경을 제공하여 안정적인 주거복지를 실현할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
