[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 친환경농업의 경영비 부담을 줄이고 친환경농산물 품질경쟁력 향상을 위해 친환경농자재 공급 지원사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 농업경영체를 등록하고 친환경인증을 받은 농업인(농업법인 포함) 또는 친환경농업을 실천하고자 하는 농업인에 유기농업자재정보시스템에 공시된 유기농업자재 및 자재원료를 제공하는 것으로 사업비 3천 860만원이 투입된다고 했다.

태백시는 ha 당 유기 인증 1,800천원, 무농약 인증 1,300천원, 친환경 예비농가는 750천원 이내로 지원할 예정이라고 전했다.

친환경의무자조금 단체에 가입하지 않거나 자조금을 납부하지 않은 자는 지원대상에서 제외되며, 친환경 예비농가일 경우 사업 최초 선정 2년 이내 인증을 받아야 하고 미인증 시 지원대상에서 제외되므로 유의해야 한다고 했다. 

신청기간은 지난 3월 2일 시작해 오는 10월 31일까지이며, 신청방법은 농업기술센터 농업유통팀으로 방문 접수하면 된다고 전했다.

태백시 관계자는 “안전하고 안심할 수 있는 친환경농산물의 생산과 소비가 확대되길 바란다”고 말했다.
