[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 속초시가 2022년 전기자동차 보급사업을 신청받는다고 밝혔다.

올해 전기자동차 총 202대를 지원할 계획이며, 차종별 지원금액이 다르지만 전기승용차는 최대 1,140만 원, 전기화물차는 2,663만 원까지 지원받을 수 있다고 했다. 

전기택시에는 330만 원이 추가로 지원되고, 어린이 통합 차량(승합)에도 우선순위를 부여하며 500만 원이 추가로 지원된다고 전했다. 

또한, 장애인과 차상위 이하 계층, 국가유공자, 소상공인 등 취약계층과 다자녀 가구, 생애 최초 차량 구매자, 미세먼지 개선효과가 높은 차량, 농공단지 입주 사업장 구매자도 우선 지원된다고 했다. 

보조금 신청자격은 구매 신청일 기준 90일 이전부터 속초시에 주소를 둔 사람이거나 사업자등록을 한 사업자 또는 법인(단체)이고, 2년 이내에 보조금 지원을 받은 자는 신청이 제한되며, 전기자동차 구매자는 2년간 의무운행기간을 준수해야 한다고 했다. 

신청방법은 구매 신청자가 자동차 판매 대리점에서 구매계약과 신청서를 작성하면 판매 대리점에서 무공해차 구매 보조금 지원시스템에 서 신청 접수와 보조금 신청을 대행하며, 차량 출고·등록 순으로 보조금을 지원할 예정이고, 구비서류와 지원 관련 자세한 사항은 속초시청 홈페이지 공고를 확인하거나 속초시 환경과로 전화 문의하면 된다고 전했다.

속초시 관계자는“대기질 개선을 위한 친환경자동차 보급사업에 시민들의 많은 관심과 참여를 당부한다.”라고 말했다.
