[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 2월 22일, 의정부시는 의정부1동 소재 국공립 가람어린이집 원장과 학부모 몇 명이 의정부1동주민센터를 방문해 수제 고추장 20병과 성금 50만 원을 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

이번 고추장은 가람어린이집 학부모와 교사들이 직접 담갔으며, 성금 50만 원은 원생들이 ‘고맙습니다!’라고 말할 때마다 받은 포인트와 독서 할 때마다 한 권당 받은 포인트 적립금에다 원장과 교사가 소액 보태어 모았다고 했다.

한편 가람어린이집은 지난 2018년부터 매해 100일간 사랑릴레이 배턴 잇기 운동에 원생, 교사, 학부모가 참여해 기부금액이 적힌 기부증서를 동장이 원생에게 수여한 바 있으며, 올해는 코로나로 인해 원생들이 참여하지 않은 가운데 기부증서는 원생들에게 전달된다고 했다.
