[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 시정과 실생활에 필요한 다양한 정보를 제공하고자 매월 발간하고 있는 ‘시정소식지’ 시민 참여 확대를 위하여 그동안 운영해온 시민참여코너 운영방식을 획기적으로 개선한다고 밝혔다.

이를 위해 시정 및 기관단체 홍보사진을 활용해 누구나 손쉽게 참여할 수 있는 ‘다른 그림찾기’ 정답자를 15명에서 24명으로 확대하고 매달 다양한 주제로 운영되는 ‘인증샷 이벤트’, ‘독자투고 코너’ 원고료를 5만원에서 7만원으로 확대 지급한다고 했다.

‘우리 아이가 태백의 미래입니다’ 코너는 응모 자격을 24개월 이내 아이에서 미취학 자녀로 확대하여 아이와 함께하는 가족의 소중한 추억을 간직할 수 있도록 운영하며 채택 시에는 10만원의 원고료를 지급한다고 했다.

또한, ‘독자투고 코너’와 ‘우리 아이가 태백의 미래입니다 코너’에 응모하는 시민에게는 소정의 사례비를 지급할 수 있도록 조례개정을 추진할 계획이라고 했다.

이정우 소통감사담당관은 “앞으로도 시정소식지가 시정 소식뿐 아니라 다양한 시민들의 이야기를 담을 수 있는 시민 공간으로 활용되고, 시민이 체감하는 생생한 정보를 전달할 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”라고 말했다.
