[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 미취업 여성을 대상으로 취업에 필요한 구직활동 비용 1인당 최대 300만 원을 지원한다고 밝혔다.

지원대상은 만 40세 이상 만 54세 이하, 기준중위소득 150% 이하인 강릉시 거주 미취업 여성 300명이며, 신청기간은 오는 22일까지이고, 강원일자리정보망에 접속하여 온라인으로만 신청할 수 있다고 했다

구체적 지원 요건 및 방법은 강릉시 홈페이지, 강릉새일센터를 통해 확인할 수 있고, 지원금은 오는 3월부터 월 50만 원씩 6개월간 포인트로 지급된다고 전했다. 

자격증 및 시험 준비, 면접 활동, 창업 준비 등 구직활동과 관련된 비용으로 사용할 수 있고, 지원기간 중 취·창업에 성공해 3개월간 근속한 경우 50만 원의 취·창업성공금도 추가 지원되며, 작년에도 취업여성지원 사업으로 취·창업에 성공해 3개월간 근속하여 25명이 취·창업성공금을 지급받았다고 했다.

강릉시 관계자는“코로나19로 경기가 어려운 상황 속에서 취업을 희망하는 여성들에게 좋은 기회가 됐으면 좋겠다”라고 말했다.
