[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 8일 속초시가 시청 디지털상황실에서 김철수 속초시장 주재로 국･과･소･동장 등 50여 명이 참석한 가운데 「2023년도 국․도비 예산확보 대책보고회」를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 보고회에는 정부와 강원도의 정책 방향에 부합하는 국ㆍ도비 사업을 발굴하고 지역의 현안문제 조기 해결과 내년도 대규모 국책사업 예산에 대한 대응체계를 강화하기 위해 마련됐으며, 국책사업 2건(국비 65억원)을 포함하여 총 25건의 사업이 보고됐다고 했다. 

이중 국ㆍ도비사업 23건의 예산은 745억원으로 (옛)대포정수장 복합문화 거점 공간 조성사업, (구)설악수련원 부지 테니스장 조성사업, 대포동1지역(화채마을) 도시재생 뉴딜사업, 보훈회관 신축, 장애인종합복지센터 조성사업, 설악교 재가설 공사, 지방상수도 현대화사업 등 향후 정부예산 확보를 위한 전략 및 대응논리 등이 중점적으로 보고됐다고 했다.

김철수 속초시장은 다음 연도의 살림살이 계획을 사전에 준비하고 주요 지역 현안들을 차질 없이 추진하기 위해 개최된 이번 보고회를 통해 민선 7기의 성공적인 마무리와 민선 8기의 힘찬 도약을 위해 향후 신규 및 공모사업의 지속적인 발굴과 계속사업의 국･도비 확보로 엄중한 대내외 경제상황을 극복하기 위한 내실 있는 재정운용을 당부했다.
