[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 경기도의회 교육기획위원장 정윤경 의원은 경기도의회 군포상담소에서 경기도교육청 특수교육과 김선희 과장 외 2명, 경기도의회 교육기획위원회 황인호 팀장과 함께 2022년 건강장애학생 원격수업시스템((가칭)모두온교실) 구축 추진(안) 및 특수학교 안심알리미(GPS위치추적기) 지원 계획(안)을 논의했다고 밝혔다.

이날 참석한 경기도교육청 특수교육과 김선희 과장은 “학업수행에 어려움이 있는 건강장애학생을 위한 원격수업 시스템 구축 운영이 필요하다.”라며 “경기도교육청 자체 원격수업시스템 운영으로 건강장애학생 교육권 보장과 정당한 교육 기회 확대 효과를 기대할 수 있다.”라고 말했다. 

이에 정윤경 의원은 “중증장애학생들을 위한 원격수업시스템 구축에 필요한 TF팀을 구성해서 체계적으로 만들어 나가야 한다.”라고 강조하며, “경기도 공립대안학교인 이천 새울학교나 추진 중인 신나는학교와 같은 건강장애학생들이 이용할 수 있는 원격수업 시스템을 갖춘 공립대안학교 건립도 필요하다.”라고 밝혔다.

또한 김 과장은 “위원장님께서 행정사무감사 때 제안해주시고 예산까지 편성해 주신 특수학교 안심알리미(GPS위치추적기)로 장애학생의 위치를 실시간 확인하여 안전을 보장하고 안전한 학교 밖 활동과 교출 상황 발생 시 장애학생의 위치 파악의 신속성을 확보할 수 있게 되었다.”라며 감사의 말도 잊지 않았다고 했다.

정윤경 의원은 “특수학교 안심알리미(GPS위치추적기)는 보호자와 자녀들의 등·하교 현황을 공유하여 신속한 사안 처리와 안전한 학교생활을 할 수 있도록 안전 인프라 구축에 힘써 달라.”라고 전하며 추후 건강장애학생 학부모님들과 정담회를 통해 현장의 목소리를 듣는 자리도 만들도록 했다고 전했다.
