[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 속초시는 중대재해처벌법 대응을 위하여 중대산업재해와 중대시민재해 예방업무를 총괄하는 전담TF를 신설해 운영한다고 밝혔다.

속초시에 따르면 중대재해대응TF팀은 도시안전국 안전총괄과 내에 설치되며, 중대산업·시민재해 예방에 필요한 안전보건관리체계 구축·이행과 재해 방지대책 수립·이행 및 사업장 유해·위험요인 점검·개선 등을 관리하는 역할을 수행하게 된다고 했다.

한편, 속초시는 중대재해 예방을 위해 전 부서에 각종 발주공사 및 용역 건에 대한 안전계획을 수립하고 근무 중인 상시근로자에 대하여 안전대책도 수립할 예정이며, 특히 중대재해처벌법 시행과 관련하여 모든 사업장의 안전점검에 만전을 기하고 재해를 사전에 예방하여 시민의 안전을 확보하기 위해 총력을 기울일 방침이라고 전했다.
