[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 1월26일 수요일 오전 10시, 평창영월정선축협는 2021년 한해를 마무리 하는 제39기 결산총회를 본점 3층 대회의실에서 실시하였다고 밝혔다.

고광배 조합장은 인사말을 통해 “지속적인 저금리기조와 외부환경의 급변에도 불구하고 조합원님들의 적극적인 사업참여와 임직원들의 헌신적인 노력으로 경제사업 총매출액 1600억원, 상호금융대출금 3천억원을 초과 달성하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 조합원건강검진실시, 배합사료비 지원, 톱밥 및 조사료 운반비 보조, 전 조합원 대상 방한복 공급 등 창립 이래 최초로 30억원 규모의 대규모 환원사업을 진행할 수 있었다”고 강조하였다고 했다.

특히 고광배 조합장은 “ 지난해 조사료물류창고를 개장하여 조사료 대란에 적극적으로 대응할 수 있었으며, 지역 농가에 우수한 송아지를 생산·공급하는 시스템을 구축하고자 임계지역에 번식사업 시범단지를 조성하여 우량송아지 생산의 첫 발을 내딛는 등 축협이 지역 축산업 발전의 선도적 역할을 성공적으로 수행하고 있다”고 말했다.

이어 "2022년은 경쟁력있는 축협, 조합원이 잘사는 복지조합으로 발전하는 디딤돌을 놓고자 한다”며 “이를 위해 생산원가절감과 유통혁신, 조직개편을 통한 전문성과 책임성 강화로 환원사업을 확대하여 궁극적으로 조합원이 잘사는 존경받는 축협’을 구현하자”고 독려한다고 전했다.

이날 총회에는 한왕기 평창군수님, 이주웅 평창군의회 부의장님, 윤석훈 도의원님 등 100여명의 내빈과 임원, 대의원이 참석한 가운데 조합원의 소득증대로 지역사회 발전에 동참하고, 조합원 복지사업에 역점을 기울여 알차고 내실 있는 조합으로 거듭 발전할 것을 다짐하였다고 했다.
