[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 2월부터 4월까지 태백시는 흡연율 감소와 직장 내 금연환경조성을 위한 ‘찾아가는 금연클리닉’을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

‘찾아가는 금연클리닉’은 금연을 하고 싶지만 시간과 거리의 제약 등으로 보건소 방문이 어려운 금연 결심자를 직접 찾아가 금연에 성공할 수 있도록 도움을 주는 프로그램이라고 했다.

프로그램에 참여하는 사업장은 12주간 금연상담사가 일대일 상담을 진행하고, 금연보조제(금연패치, 금연사탕, 껌)와 행동강화물품(파이프, 은단) 등이 제공된다고 했다.

또한, 최종 6개월 금연 성공 시까지 금연 상담사가 지속적으로 관리하며 금연 성공률을 높이기 위해 6개월 금연에 성공하면 금연 성공 기념품도 지급할 예정이라고 했다.

‘찾아가는 금연클리닉’에 참여를 희망하는 공공기관, 사업장 등은 보건소 금연 클리닉으로 문의하면 된다고 전했다.
