[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 코로나19 백신 추가접종률을 높이기 위해 예방접종콜센터에 직원 2명을 추가 채용하고 총 6명의 직원을 배치해 콜센터 확대운영에 나섰다.

태백시는 추가접종 대상자 37,796명 중 기예약자 7,739명과 추가접종자를 제외한 미예약자 9,236명에 대해 백신 추가접종 집중 안내와 1:1사전예약 상담을 진행하고 있다고 전했다.

이번 1:1 예약 상담은 감염에 취약한 60세 이상 어르신들을 대상으로 집중적으로 안내해 드리고 있으며 백신종류는 화이자 또는 모더나라고 했다.

60세 이상 3차 접종은 2차 접종 후 3개월이 경과하면 예약없이 바로 접종이 가능하며, 의료기관의 접종 가능 여부를 확인해 보고 당일 바로 접종받으면 된다고 했다.

이외에도 2022년 신규 접종대상인 만12세(2010년생)는 생일 이후 예약이 가능하며 식약처 허가사항에 따라 화이자 백신으로 의료기관에서 접종이 진행될 예정이고, 1차 접종 후 3주(21일)후에 2차 접종을 하게 되며 사전예약은 누리집 또는 태백시 콜센터를 통해 가능하다고 했다.

김미영 보건소장은 “돌파 감염 예방 및 안전한 일상회복을 위해 추가접종 대상에 해당하시는 분은 사전 예약 후 신속히 추가접종을 받아주시길 당부드린다”고 말했다.

한편, 태백시는 총인구 대비 1차 접종 35,781명(87.6%), 2차 접종 34,987명(85.7%)이 백신접종을 완료했으며, 부스터샷 추가접종은 20,823명, 50.9%로 전국 평균을 웃도는 접종률을 보이고 있고, 대상자별 접종률은 80세 이상이 93.78%, 70∼79세 91.5%, 60∼69세 83.36%이라고 전했다.
