[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 7일까지 태백시는 자동차등록번호판 발급대행자를 모집한다고 밝혔다.

신청자격은 공고일 현재 태백시에 1년 이상 주소를 둔 법인이나 개인으로 자동차관리법 제54조에 의한 결격사유가 없어야 하며, 접수방법은 신청서와 사업계획서 등 구비서류를 갖춰 시청 민원교통과 차량등록팀으로 방문 신청하면 된다고 했다.

태백시는 공정한 업체 선정을 위해 관련분야 전문가 등으로 심의위원을 구성해 사업계획서, 번호판 발급 수수료 가격 경쟁력, 등록관청에의 접근성 등을 종합적으로 검토해 결정할 계획이며, 선정 결과는 시 홈페이지에 공고하고 해당업체에 개별 통지할 예정이라고 했다.

대행기간 오는 9월 18일부터 5년간이며, 선정된 발급대행자는 태백시의 자동차 등록번호판 제작‧발급 및 봉인 업무를 맡게 되며, 기타 자세한 사항은 태백시 홈페이지를 통해 확인하거나 시청 민원교통과 차량등록팀으로 문의하면 된다고 전했다.

태백시 관계자는 “공개모집으로 건실하고 경쟁력 있는 업체를 선정해 시민들이 보다 편리하게 번호판을 발급 받을 수 있도록 할 계획이다”고 말했다.
