[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 건설시장의 불공정 관행 개선과 견실한 업체의 수주 기회를 높이기 위해 전문건설업 등록기준에 대한 실태조사를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 실태조사는 국토교통부의 조기경보시스템을 통해 추출된 등록기준(시설 및 장비 미달 등)미달 혐의가 있는 15개 업체를 대상으로 실시된다고 했다.

태백시는 실태조사반을 편성해 조상 대상 업체에 대한 등록기준 자료수집 및 적격여부를 심사하며 이를 위해 실태조사 대상 업체에 안내문을 발송했다고 전했다. 

해당 업체는 오는 4일까지 소명자료를 제출해야 하며 시설 검토 결과 부실로 판정되는 업체에 대해서는 청문 절차를 거쳐 행정처분을 할 예정며,한편, 시 관내에는 139여 개의 전문건설업체가 등록‧영업 중이라고 전했다.

태백시 관계자는 “이번 실태조사를 통해 부실‧불법업체를 사전에 예방하고 건설업체의 건전한 활성화를 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
