[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 12월 23일 올 한해 지역의 다양한 복지 문제 해결 및 주민들의 복지서비스 향상을 위해 다양한 사업을 추진한 강림면지역사회보장협의체가 올해 사업을 마무리한다고 밝혔다. 

강림면지역사회보장협의체는 취약 계층에게 안전하고, 질 좋은 먹거리 제공을 위해 지난 5월 11일을 시작으로 12월 23일까지 8개월간 12회 반찬을 직접 조리하여 25명에게 반찬을 제공하였고, 관절 등이 불편해 앉아서 식사하기 어려웠던 어르신들을 위해 1인용 입식식탁 30개를 자원봉사협의회와 협업하여 제작·지원하였으며, 여름철 코로나로 지친 어르신들의 건강증진을 위해 삼계탕을 만들어 60가구에 전달하기도 했다.

또한 23일 오후 4시, 각림건강복지센터에서 관내 초·중학교에 재학 중인 전학생(35가구)에게 성탄절을 맞이하여 가족과 함께 크리스마스를 즐길 수 있도록 케이크를 전달해 주는 산타 행사를 진행할 예정이라고 전했다.  

한편, 협의체 위원들은 지역의 문제에 선제적으로 대응하고 주민들의 복지서비스 향상을 위해 사업추진 과정에서의 다양한 의견수렴 등을 통해 추진하였다고 했다. 

김성미 강림면 지역사회보장협의체 위원장은 “내년에도 주민들의 욕구에 맞는 다양한 복지시책을 개발하고 추진하여, 민·관이 함께 주민의 복지향상에 앞장서는 거버넌스로써의 중추적 역할을 하겠다.”고 하였다.
