[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 경기도의회 교육기획위원회 위원장 정윤경 의원은 (사)한국매니페스토실천본부가 주관하는 ‘제13회 지방의원 매니페스토 약속대상 좋은 조례 분야 최우수상’을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

‘지방의원 매니페스토 약속대상’은 지방의회 역량 강화 및 주민 신뢰 기반 구축을 위해 전국 지방의회 의원을 대상으로 ‘공약 이행 분야’와 ‘좋은 조례 분야’에서 엄격한 심사를 통해 수상자를 선정하는 상이라고 했다.

좋은 조례로 선정된 「경기도교육청 4차 산업혁명 교육 진흥 조례」는 4차 산업혁명에 따른 사회·경제구조의 변화가 교육제도와 교육정책에 미칠 영향을 예측하여 이에 대응하고자 미래사회가 요구하는 창의적 사고능력을 갖춘 융합형 인재를 양성하기 위한 취지로 제안됐으며, 현재 약 266억 원의 예산이 편성되어 사이버 학습 운영, 디지털교과서 개발, ICT연계 교육서비스 구축 운영, 학교 무선인프라 확충 등의 사업이 진행되고 있다고 했다.

정윤경 위원장은 “평소 4차 산업혁명 시대를 준비해야겠다는 생각에 본 조례뿐 아니라 스마트도시 조성 및 산업 지원과 학교 스마트체육을 주제로 한 연구를 통해 교육 현장 실정에 맞는 조례를 제정하는 등 노력해 온 성과에 대한 상을 받아 기쁜 마음”이라고 수상소감을 밝혔다.

덧붙여, 정윤경 위원장은 “디지털 미래사회에서 4차 산업혁명은 우리의 일상생활과 학교의 모든 시스템에 근원적 변화를 가져올 것으로 예측되는 만큼 경기도교육청 차원에서 창의성을 갖춘 미래인재를 길러낼 수 있는 교육정책과 학교 인프라 구축 등 필요한 정책이 시행될 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

상장은 도의회 종무식에서 시상했으며 선정된 조례들은 향후 우수사례집으로 제작되어 주요정당에 전달될 예정이라고 전했다.
