[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 16일 의정부시가 제6기 공직자정책연구단 2021년도 혁신 연구과제 경연대회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

의정부시 정책연구단은 공직자의 참신하고 독창적인 제안을 장려하고 정책 개발을 통한 창의행정의 구현을 위해 2010년부터 운영하고 있으며, 시정 발전을 위해 지금까지 56개의 참신한 정책 아이디어를 발굴했다고 전했다.

지난해 5개 팀 31명으로 위촉된 제6기 정책연구단은 올해 코로나19로 인하여 연구 활동을 수행하기 어려웠음에도 의정부시 발전을 위한 다양한 주제에 관해 토론하고, 자료 수집, 보고서 작성, 우수사례 벤치마킹 등 심도 있는 연구 활동을 수행했으며, 이날 경연대회를 통해 그동안의 땀과 노력이 결실을 보게 됐다고 했다.

총 5개 팀이 각자의 연구 활동에 대한 자부심과 의욕을 가지고 발표를 이어갔으며, 최종 심사결과 윱하팀 연구과제 ‘경전철 하부공간 조성에 관한 연구’가 최우수상을, 의정부클라쓰팀 연구과제 ‘문화공간 조성방안에 관한 연구’가 우수상을, 오지라퍼팀 ‘의정부시 배달플랫폼 정착을 위한 개선 및 활성화 방안’과 오행일통팀 ‘빅데이터 분석을 통한 시정발전에 관한 연구’가 각각 장려상으로 선정됐다고 했다.

황범순 의정부시 부시장은 “오늘의 연구 결과가 시정에 접목되어 의정부시의 성과로 이어질 수 있기를 희망하며, 맡은 바 업무 외에도 시 발전을 위해 노력해 주신 모든 정책연구단원에게 감사의 말씀을 전한다”고 밝혔다.
