[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 횡성군은 횡성군 도시재생청년참여단에서 활동하고 있는 김수래 단원이 지난 12월 11일~12일(무박 2일)에 걸쳐 진행된 ‘2021 강원도 스마트시티 온라인 해커톤 대회’에 참가하여 우수상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

전국에서 총 13개 팀이 참가한 이번 대회는 지역에서 발생하고 있는 보건·복지 문제, 방범·방재 문제, 주거환경 문제 등을 정보통신기술(ICT: Information and Communications Technology)을 활용하여 해결방안을 제안하는 것으로, 비대면 온라인 방식으로 진행됐다고 했다.

김수래 단원은 포도알을 제안하였고, 포도알은 지역 내 거주하는 주니어부터 시니어까지 ‘포인트 받고 도우며 알바하자’라는 의미를 갖으며, 스마트폰 사용법과 홀로 산책 등 나이가 들어 일상생활에 불편함을 느끼는 고령층과 가정문제 상담이나 농작물 재배방법 등 경험이 부족해 멘토를 찾는 젊은 층을 이어주는 상호 문제해결형 플랫폼이라고 했다.

김수래 단원은 “우리 사회에서 발현되고 있는 세대 간 소통 단절 현상을 해소하고 일자리 창출과 공동체 활성화를 이룰 수 있는 스마트앱을 만들고 싶었다.”고 밝혔다. 

조관식 도시교통과장은 “현재 도시재생예비사업을 집행하고 있는 횡성읍 읍하리(구리고개) 일원을 대상으로 아이디어를 적용한 것에 더욱 큰 의미가 있다. 이번 수상을 계기로 모든 세대를 아우를 수 있는 활기찬 읍하리(구리고개) 마을을 기대한다.”고 말했다.
