[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 10일 경기도의회 교육기획위원회 위원장 정윤경 의원은 경기도의회 대회의실에서 ‘새로운 대한민국을 향한 기본소득국민운동 경기본부 송년 토론회’를 기본소득국민운동 경기본부와 공동주최로 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

토론회는 경기본부 김상돈 상임대표, 중앙본부 강남훈 상임대표, 김명원 도의원, 시군 상임대표 등 50여 명이 참석하여, 경기본부 역사를 알리는 홍보영상 ‘오딧세이아’ 시청, 표창장 수여, 시군 상임대표간 토크 콘서트 순으로 진행했다고 했다.   

이날 정윤경 의원은 기본소득국민운동 군포본부 상임대표를 맡아 기본소득에 대한 깊은 이해와 관심으로 기본소득 인식 개선과 전 국민 확산 및 적극적인 홍보활동을 통해 기본소득국민운동 경기본부 발전에 기여한 공을 인정받아 ‘기본소득국민운동본부상’을 수상하는 영예를 안았다고 전했다.

정 의원은 “기본소득은 복지를 넘어 경제를 아우르는 정책으로 군포시민의 행복한 삶과 군포발전을 위해 열심히 뛰었을 뿐인데 이렇게 상을 받게되어 영광이다”라며, “경기도의원으로서 기본소득과 관련된 정책과 제도마련에 적극적으로 힘쓰겠다”고 수상소감을 밝혔다.  

기본소득국민운동본부는 대한민국 국민의 기본소득 및 국민의 기본권 실현을 위한 활동을 통해 국민의 권익보호와 공동체의 발전에 기여함을 목적으로 창립되어, 현재 경기도에는 28개 시군본부와 경기예술인본부, 경기농민본부 2개의 특별본부가 창립되어 활동하고 있다고 했다.
