[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강원디자인진흥원(이하 진흥원)과 예술공공이 공동 주최·주관으로 “예쁘고 귀엽개展”이 오는 11월 30일부터 2022년 2월 27일까지 진흥원 제2전시실에서 열린다고 밝혔다.

이번 전시에는 지난달 개최한‘2021 강원 반려동물 사진·영상 공모전’의 공모작 총 142점 중에서 최종 수상작 43점을 포함해, 반려동물을 주제로 작품 활동 중인 주후식, 조원경, 홍현지 작가와 미디어 아티스트 조민서 작가의 작품도 함께 전시된다고 했다.

특히 반려동물과 함께 관람할 수 있는 전시로 반려동물을 안거나 펫 전용 이동가방 또는 유모차를 이용하는 관람객에 한해 동반 입장이 가능하다고 했다. 

또한 전시장 내 아트라운지에서는 지역 업체 및 핸드메이드 작가들의 참여로 캐릭터 디자인 상품을 비롯해 다양한 종류의 펫 전용 용품을 전시하고 판매할 예정이라고 했다.

전시 기간 중에는 참여작가와 함께하는 원데이 클래스, 컬러링 엽서 체험 등 다양한 체험행사도 진행될 계획이라고 전했다.

반려동물 인구 1500만 시대, 강원권 전역의 반려동물 사업화가 활발하게 추진되는 시점에서 이번 행사 개최가 향후 도내 펫 문화산업에 있어 전시 디자인, 상품 개발 등 업계의 다양한 협업과 공유를 통해 확장에 계기가 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다고 했다.
