강릉시 관계자는 이번 업무협약 체결로“로컬푸드 가공 시스템 구축을 통한 농업 생산기반 마련, 신활력 종합센터 운영(공공급식)을 통한 지역 먹거리 선순환 체계 구축, 지역 농산물 과잉생산과 소비 부진의 어려움 해소 등의 당면과제 해결에 큰 도움이 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.
