[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시는 자동차등록증의 분실 및 훼손을 방지하고 자동차 관련 의무사항을 홍보하기 위하여 자동차등록증 보관 케이스 3,000부를 제작해 내방 민원인에게 배부한다고 밝혔다. 

기존 제공되던 단면 비닐 케이스의 단점을 개선해 여러 장의 속지가 있는 파일 형태 케이스를 제공함으로써 운전자가 등록증 외에도 보험증서, 수리 내역서 등 중요 서류들을 함께 보관해 효율적으로 자동차를 관리할 수 있도록 했다고 전했다.

또한, 자동차 정기검사와 의무보험 가입, 각종 변경사항 등록 등의 유의 사항과 위반 시 과태료에 대한 홍보 안내문을 속지에 함께 넣어 제공한다고 했다.
