[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 경기도의회 교육기획위원회 정윤경 위원장은 경기도의회 군포상담소에서 경기도학생교육원 관계자들과 학생야영장 현대화사업 추진계획 관련 정담회를 가졌다고 밝혔다.

이날 오형균 원장은 “용인, 포천, 김포 3개의 야영장 노후화로 현대화사업 추진이 시급하다.”며 “학생, 학부모, 교사 등 수요자 요구 사항을 반영한 안전하고 위생적인 시설환경 및 사계절 이용 가능한 8대 분야 숙박형 현장 체험학습 공간을 확보하고 학생 주도성의 미래핵심 역량 함양 교육인 온라인 수업, 학생주도 프로젝트 활동 등이 가능한 교육환경 인프라 구축 등 현대화 사업을 추진할 계획이다.”라며 진행 상황을 보고했다.

이에 정윤경 위원장은 “학생들에게 체험학습은 학교생활에서 벗어나 새로운 곳으로 떠난다는 설레임이 있어 이에 부흥할 수 있도록 숙박형 체험학습 공간을 글램핑장 같은 수준으로 개선하여 학생들의 이용 만족도를 최대한 올릴 수 있도록 노력해달라”고 전하며, 또한 “우리 아이들이 미래핵심 역량 함양 교육을 받을 수 있는 교육환경 인프라 구축에도 함께 힘써달라.”고 당부했다.
