[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 14일 경기도의회 교육기획위원회 위원장 정윤경의원은 군포의왕교육지원청에서 개최하는 2021 경기꿈의학교 군포의왕 지역운영위원회에 참석했다고 밝혔다. 

이 날 회의에서는 참석 위원들의 추천에 따라 만장일치로 정윤경 도의원이 2021 경기꿈의학교 군포의왕 지역운영위원회 위원장으로 선출됐다고 했다. 

정윤경 위원장은 “꿈의학교는 학생과 학부모, 시민사회단체의 높은 지지를 받고 있는 사업인 만큼 지속 가능하고 흔들림없는 꿈의학교가 운영되기 위해마을공동체 모두가 함께갈 수 있어야 한다”며 적극적인 의지를 표명했다.

이날 회의에서는 군포의왕 지역운영위원회 2021년 운영계획과 꿈의학교운영현황이 함께 보고됐다고 전했다. 

정 위원장은 “꿈의학교 운영이 지속성을 유지하기위해서는 기업의 참여도 이끌어 낼 필요가 있다”고 언급하며, 꿈의학교 관계자들에게 새로운 꿈의학교 발굴에 힘써줄 것을 요청하며 꿈의학교 운영위원회 회의를 마쳤다고 했다.

현재 군포의왕지역 꿈의학교는 81개(군포46개, 의왕35)이며, 1591명의 학생이 다양한 형태의 활동을 하고 있다고 전했다.
