[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 10월 7일 의정부시를 연고지로 하는 KB스타즈배구단은 감독과 코치진 등 4명이 의정부 용현 선별검사소에서 봉사활동을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

현재 코로나19 4차 유행이 지속되는 가운데 후인정 감독 및 코치진은 용현동 임시 선별검사소에서 시민들이 안전하게 검사를 받을 수 있도록 대기자 거리두기, 비닐장갑 배부, 검사신청서 접수 등 봉사활동을 전개하여 시민들로부터 많은 호응을 얻었다고 전했다.

또한 KB스타즈 배구단은 의료용 전문 생산업체인 스텀프코리아로부터 3천만 원 상당의 전신 방호복 1천 벌을 후원받아 코로나19 최일선에 있는 의정부시 보건소 의료진을 위해 기증하겠다고 밝혔다.
