가평군 임대농기계 임대료 감면이 시행된 지난해 4월부터 현재까지 (6월1일 기준) 총 2,022농가에서 3,675대의 임대농기계를 이용 했으며, 가평군은 당초 6월 말까지 예정되어 있던 감면 혜택을 올해 12월31일까지 연장할 계획이고, 이에 따라 관내 농업인은 농기계 임대사업소54기종 287대의 임대농기계를 50% 감면된 가격으로 이용할 수 있게 됐다고 했다.

또한 농업기술센터 관계자는“이번 농기계 임대료 감면 기간 연장으로 코로나 19 장기화에 따른 농촌인력난과 농가의 경영비 절감에 조금이나마 보탬이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
