[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 오는 6월 3일부터 동두천시 평생교육원 꿈나무정보도서관은 시민참여 북큐레이션을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

북큐레이션이란 책과 큐레이션의 합성어로, 기존에는 도서관이 특정한 주제, 독자층에 맞는 책을 선별해 제안했으나, 시민과 도서관이 함께 책을 찾아 추천하고 과거 도서관 이용 현황을 분석하여 선정하는 방식으로 진행할 예정이라고 말했다.  

2층 자료실에서 6월은 3개 주제로 진행하며, '나는 나는 되겠어요!' 코너에서는 내가 되고 싶은 장래희망과 관련한 책을 공유하고 참여 어린이 15명에게 기념품을 증정하고, '어서 와, 꿈나무는 처음이지?'에서는 회원가입 후 처음 대출한 도서들을 만나볼 수 있으며, '작년 이맘때엔'에서는 작년 6월 시민들이 빌린 도서를 확인할 수 있다고 했다.  

도서관 관계자는 “앞으로도「시민의 서재」운영 등 시민과 함께하는 이색적인 북큐레이션을 운영할 예정이니 많은 참여를 바란다.”고 전했다.
