[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 17일 오전 10시30분부터 동두천시 평생교육원은 동두천시 평생학습관 2층 공연장에서 임진모 강사를 초청해 ‘K팝에서 배우는 세대간 소통’이라는 주제로 2021년 제4회 동두천시민대학을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

임진모 강사는 고려대 사회학과를 졸업하고 대중음악평론가 겸 방송인으로서 왕성한 활동을 펼치고 있고, MBC FM 「배철수의 음악캠프」, Mnet 「볼륨텐」 등의 음악프로그램에 고정으로 출연하고 있으며, ‘글쓰기’에 의한 고전적 평론을 중심으로 한 음악웹진 이즘을 운영 중이고, 주요 저서로는 「시대를 빛낸 정상의 앨범」, 「세계를 흔든 대중음악의 명반」 등이 있다고 했다.

임진모 강사는 이번 강좌에서 K팝을 매개로 젊은이들의 문화를 향유 및 공유하면서 우리가 어떤 것을 배우고 얻을 수 있는지에 대해 설명하고, 아울러, K팝을 통한 세대 간 만남과 소통의 중요성을 심도 있게 다룬다고 했다.

한편, 이번 강좌는 코로나19로 인한 수도권 사회적 거리두기 4단계 시행 연장으로 비대면 온라인 강좌로만 진행되며, 동두천시민 뿐만 아니라 누구나 유튜브에서 동두천시를 검색하고 실시간으로 시청할 수 있다고 전했다.
