이번 지원금은 가평군 건강가정 다문화가족지원센터 설악 분소 개소에 따라 결혼이민자 및 다문화 가족 센터 이용 회원들에게 교통편의를 제공하여 접근성을 높이고 다문화가족의 조기 정착을 지원하기 위해 사용될 예정이라고 했다.

대표이사를 대신하여 전달식에 참석한 정성용 원장은 “언어와 문화 등의 차이로 어려움을 겪고 있을 다문화가족을 지원하기 위해 차량 구입비를 전달하게 됐다”며 “지역주민들의 편리한 센터 이용에 기여할 수 있어 기쁘다”고 말했다.
