[서종협 기자 = 태백시] 태백시보건소는 지난 24일 구문소동 주민봉사작업장에서 지역주민을 대상으로 이동보건소를 운영해 지역 어르신들로 부터 큰 호응을 얻었다고 밝혔다.

이동보건소 사업은 코로나19로 인해 2년간 중지되었다가, 금년 2월부터 의료취약지역 주민들에게 보건의료서비스를 제공하고, 주민들의 편의와 건강형평성을 제고하고자 재개됐다.

태백시보건소 관계자는 “2023년 이동보건소사업은 2월부터 오는 12월까지 매달 셋째주 금요일에 의료취약지 11개소를 순회할 예정이며, 앞으로 시민을 위한 다양한 사업을 추진해 의료사각지대를 해소하기 위해 더욱 힘쓰겠다”라고 말했다.
