[김택곤 기자=정선군] 정선군 가리왕산 정상에서 정월대보름 맞이 이벤트를 진행한다.

군에서는 정월 대보름날인 2월 5일 가리왕산 정상에서 계묘년 검은 토끼의 해 기운을 받아 건강과 행복을 기원하는 일출과 달맞이 이벤트를 진행한다.

군은 올해 1월 3일부터 가리왕산 케이블카를 본격 운영하여 매주 토요일에는 해넘이, 일요일에는 해돋이 행사를 진행해 가리왕산을 찾는 관광객들에게 큰 호응을 얻고 있다.

이날 이벤트 행사는 가리왕산의 장엄한 풍경속에서 정월 대보름맞아 장엄한 일출과 대보름달을 구경하면 좋겠다는 아이디어를 제안받아 시행하게 됐다.

군은 이날 해맞이 이벤트 가리왕산 케이블카는 오전 6시 30분부터 운영하며 루게릭병 환우들을 돕는 희망일출 모임에서는 강원도특별자치도 출범을 기념하고 번영을 기원하기 위하여 강원도 18개시군 심벌마크 100개의 연을 이어 가리왕산 정상에서 날리는 행사를 함께 진행 한다.

케이블카 탑승 시간은 2월 5일 오후 7시까지 가능하며, 정상에서 탑승 마감시간은 오후 8시까지로 연장한다.
