[서종협 기자 = 평창군] 평창군(군수 심재국) 봉평면 이장협의회(회장 연시권)회원들은 20일, 가족 등 약 40명이 청와대 등 서울 일원으로 선진지 견학을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 견학은 행정의 최일선에서 주민과 지역의 교량 역할을 하고 있는 이장들의 역량 강화와 지역발전방안 모색을 위한 자리로 마련됐으며 

청와대, 경복궁, 남산타워 등을 방문하여 지역 관광 활성화를 위한 방안을 모색하고, 지역의 리더로써 자기 계발의 계기를 마련하는 시간을 가졌다.

연시권 봉평면 이장협의회장은 “코로나19로 모이기가 힘들었는데 이번 선진지 견학을 통해 회원들 간의 결속이 더욱 단단해진 것 같아 정말 기쁘다.”며, “앞으로도 지역 발전에 이장협의회가 앞장서서 화합하고 소통하여 더욱 살기 좋은 봉평면을 만들도록 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
