[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군은 10월부터 12월까지 체납액 징수 활동에 나선다고 밝혔다.

8월말까지 가평군의 지방세 총 체납액은 51억으로 지난해 동기간 대비 7억7천만원이 감소했다. 이는 지난해 동기간 대비 7억 7천만원 감소한 것으로 오는 12월까지 지방세 체납액 특별정리 기간으로 지정해 강력한 징수 활동을 펼칠 예정이다.

군은 고액체납자 20명의 가택수색을 통해 현금 22백만원 징수했으며, 명품가방 등 압류품 63점에 대해서는 10월중 온라인 공매를 통해 일괄 매각하기로 결정했다.  

이 같은 노력으로 현재 1천만원 이상 고액체납자 체납액은 4억원이 감소했으며, 특히, 고액·고질 체납자에 대해서는 가택수색을 통한 동산 압류, 악의적인 세금 면탈자에 대해 범칙사건 조사를 통한 형사고발로 끝까지 추적 징수한다는 방침이다. 

이와 관련하여 차량, 부동산, 금융자산, 급여 등 모든 재산을 추적해 압류하고, 압류재산 공매, 고액체납자 명단공개, 출국금지 등 강력한 체납처분과 행정제재도 병행한다.

또한, 기간 중 매월 상습체납차량 특별단속도 실시할 계획이다. 자동차세 체납정리 및 상습체납차량은 번호판 영치·견인 등 일제단속에 나설 계획이다.

다만, 일시적 또는 생계형 체납자는 분납유도와 강제집행을 유예하는 등 서민생활 안정에도 힘쓸 계획이다.

가평군 관계자는 “납부능력이 충분함에도 고의적으로 납부의무를 이행하지 않거나 부동산, 채권 등을 가족, 친인척 명의로 변경하고, 체납처분을 회피하는 비양심 체납자에 대해서는 은닉재산을 끝까지 추적 조사해 지속적인 징수활동을 강화”할 방침임을 밝혔다.
