[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양주시는 시민 중심의 일 잘하는 공직사회를 구현하기 위해 전 직원을 대상으로 오는 26일까지 ‘일하는 방식 개선 아이디어’공모전을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 공모는 범정부적 차원에서 추진 중인 ‘일 잘하는 유능한 정부’구현을 위한 조직문화 혁신의 일환으로 업무 생산성과 효율성을 높일 수 있는 아이디어 발굴해 작고 스마트한 조직으로 탈바꿈하고자 마련했다.

공모 주제는 불필요한 일 버리기, 업무 자동화(RPA) 2개 분야이며 개인 또는 2인 이상 팀을 이뤄 접수할 수 있다.

양주시는 접수된 아이디어를 실무자 사전검토와 국민생각함 온라인 투표를 통한 1차 심사를 거쳐 6개 과제를 채택하고 제안심사위원회 최종 심사를 통해 1등 1건, 2등 2건, 3등 3건을 선정할 예정이다.

최종 선정된 팀은 순위에 따라 상장과 함께 상금이 수여되며, 양주시는 우수 아이디어에 대해 소관부서와 협의 후 개선 계획을 수립, 아이디어 적용·반영 절차를 추진할 계획이다.

특히, 업무 자동화(RPA) 분야에 선정된 아이디어는 실시 가능 여부를 분야별 전문가의 의견을 수렴해 단계적으로 실시할 방침이다.

양주시 관계자는 “이번 공모전이 많은 직원의 아이디어 접수로 유능하고 효율적인 양주시를 조성할 수 있는 좋은 계기가 되길 기대한다”며 “직원 누구든지 실제 업무 과정에서 경험한 개선사례가 있다면 공모에 적극 참여해 주길 바란다”고 말했다.
