[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 코로나19로 침체된 지역경제를 살리고, 생활 불편을 줄이기 위한 정부의 ‘지방규제혁신’ 추진에 발맞추어 현장 중심·지역 맞춤형 규제개혁을 위한 ‘찾아가는 지방규제신고센터’를 운영한다고 밝혔다.

‘찾아가는 지방규제신고센터’는 부시장을 전담관으로 사업부서, 규제개혁위원회가 협업하여 지역기업, 민생현장 방문을 통해 규제애로 사항을 발굴·개선할 계획이라고 했다.

발굴된 규제에 대해, 시 차원에서 해결 가능한 사안은 관련 부서에서 신속히 해결하고, 상위법령 개정이 필요한 사안은 중앙부처에 적극 건의하여 개선한다고 했다.

한편, 기업이나 소상공인, 시민 생활 애로사항은 시 홈페이지 규제개혁참여방 및 예산정책과 인구정책평가팀으로 상시 접수 및 상담할 수 있다고 전했다.

강릉시 관계자는“규제개혁은 문제도 정답도 지역 현장에 있기 때문에 관련 사업부서와의 적극적인 협업과 중앙부처의 규제 애로 해소 지원을 활용하여 현장의 목소리를 듣고, 지역주민·기업·소상공인 등이 체감할 수 있도록 신속한 지방규제개혁을 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.
