[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 19일 동해시는 시청 통상상담실에서 '2030년 동해시 공원녹지 기본계획' 수립을 위한 중간 보고회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

보고회는 심규언 동해시장을 비롯해 지휘부, 담당 과장, 용역사 등 주요 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 현재까지 수행한 기초조사, 기본구상안, 기본계획안에 대한 보고와 토론 및 질의응답 순으로 진행됐다고 했다.

'2030년 동해시 공원녹지기본계획' 수립 용역은 오는 2030년 동해시 도시기본계획 수립 내용을 반영하고, 공원 녹지 정책의 미래상 및 발전방향을 제시하기 위해 추진되며, 이번 보고회 때 제시된 의견을 반영해 주민공청회와 의회 의견수렴, 환경영향평가, 도시계획위원회 심의 등의 절차를 거쳐 기본계획 수립을 완료할 계획이라고 했다.

심정교 녹지과장은 “동해시의 현재와 변화상을 토대로 적합한 개발 목표 및 전략을 도출해, 쾌적한 도시 환경과 풍요로운 자연 속 지속가능한 동해시를 만들어 나가도록 하겠다”고 전했다.
