의정부을지대학교병원은 본관 1층에 통증클리닉을 열고 4월 18일부터 본격적인 외래진료를 시작한다고 전했다.

통증클리닉에서는 방사선 영상장치(C-arm)를 비롯한 첨단 의료장비를 이용해 환자 개인별 증상과 통증의 정도에 따른 체계적인 약물치료 및 시술을 시행한다고 했다.

마취통증의학과 김형균, 배준열, 이용수 교수가 진료를 맡아 '대상포진 후 신경통증', '척추통증(요하지·경추부)', '신경병증성통증', '말초관절통증', '삼차신경통증', '근골격계통증' 등 각종 급성·만성·혈관통증 환자를 전문적으로 치료하며, 특히 환자가 외과 진료를 기다리는 동안 즉각적으로 통증이 완화될 수 있도록 통증클리닉 접수 당일 검사부터 진료, 시술까지 가능한 ‘원스톱 진료시스템’을 마련했다고 전했다.
