[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원]  오는 5월 5일부터 춘천시정부는 레고랜드 주변 총 9개소에 대해 불법 주정차 단속이  실시되며, 고정형 주정차 단속시스템을 설치 완료했다고 밝혔다. 

설치장소는 레고랜드 개장과 더불어 불법 주정차로 인한 교통 체증 발생 및 사고가 우려되는 지역이며, 설치 지역을 살펴보면 레고랜드 입구, 춘천대교 교차로, 평화공원 사거리, 근화동 행정복지센터 앞, 서부지구대 앞, 삼천동 사거리, 중도배터 앞, 삼악산 케이블카 앞, KT사거리라고 했다.

단속 시간은 평일 오전 7시부터 밤 8시까지이며 일부 혼잡구간에 대하여 연중 단속을 실시 할 계획이고, 정식 운영에 앞서 시정부는 4월부터 시운전 및 불법주정차 단속 홍보를 할 계획이라고 전했다.

시정부 관계자는 “시민들에게 미처 몰라 단속되는 일이 없도록 적극적으로 단속 홍보를 하겠다.”고 말했다.
