[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양양군이 지역을 대표하는 문화자원을 스토리텔링해 애니메이션으로 제작한다고 밝혔다.

양양의 설화 애니메이션 콘텐츠 제작은 지난 2018년 ‘탁장사 및 절구바위 설화’를 시작으로 2019년 ‘양양 4.4 만세운동이야기’, 2020년 ‘자심스님의 마음’, 2021년 ‘도의국사의 생애’를 설화 애니메이션으로 제작했다고 전했다.

올해는 지역 대표 관광지인 주전골 계곡을 중심으로 지역이야기를 각색해 애니메이션으로 제작, 지역문화의 정체성을 확립하고 새로운 지역문화자원으로 활용해 나가기로 했으며, ‘주전골’의 원래 이름은 골이 깊고 물을 많이 뽑는다는 뜻의 ‘큰 고래골’이고, 이 골의 끝 깊은 계곡을 주전골이라 하였는데, 지금은 오색약수부터 주전골이라 부른다고 했다.
