[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 고성군이 지속적인 불법현수막 정비를 진행하는 가운데 정당활동 등을 이유로 남발됐던 정치현수막의 무분별한 게첩을 우선 게시대를 이용하도록 유도하며 청결한 도시미관 확보 및 형평성 불만 등을 잠재우는데 노력하고 있다고 밝혔다.

군은 선거철 및 명절연휴기간 무분별한 현수막 게첨으로 도시미관을 저해하고 군민들의 불편을 해소하기 위해 정치현수막 우선게시대 확충을 추진한다고 전했다.

정치현수막 우선 게시대는 일반형(5단)으로 간성읍 2개소와 토성면 1개소로 총 3개소를 오는 3월말까지 우선 설치할 계획이며 향후 5개읍·면으로 확대할 계획이며, 정치현수막 우선 게시대가 확충되면 군은 총 51곳에 262면의 현수막을 게첨할 수 있게 되어 광고주의 편의를 도모하고 무분별한 불법 현수막 게시를 막을 수 있을 것으로 기대된다고 했다. 

또한, 현수막의 원활한 철거를 위해 현수막 실명제를 더욱 강화할 계획이며, 그동안 군과 읍면에서 불법현수막을 철거해 왔으나 앞으로는 현수막 우측하단에 표시기간과 광고사 상호, 연락처를 기재하도록 하여 광고주와 광고업체에서 직접 현수막을 철거하도록 행정지도 할 방침이라고 했다.
