[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 5월 4일부터 15일까지, 홍천문화재단은 옛 주봉초등학교 와동분교장에서 2022년 홍천 미술 페스티벌 '예술로 놀러와동'을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

홍천 미술 페스티벌은 지난 3년간 홍천에서 개최됐던 강원국제예술제의 문화적 자산과 전시·체험공간으로 남아있는 옛 와동분교를 활용해 지역재생과 문화재생을 위해 추진되며, 이에 따라 올해 4회째를 맞는 홍천 미술 페스티벌은 어린이 중심의 온 가족이 함께 참여할 수 있는 행사로 개편돼 개최된다고 전했다.

행사는 왁자지껄 신나게 미술로 놀 수 있는 '예술로 놀러와동 : 와동아트랜드'라는 주제 아래 ‘예술가의 렌즈를 찾자’, ‘예술가의 언어를 배우자’, ‘홍천의 예술을 되찾자’라는 3개의 미션을 수행하며, 전시 관람과 미술체험, 놀이가 연계된 독창적 예술경험을 선보일 예정이라고 했다. 

특히 중앙공모 ‘전시공유활성화 사업’ 선정으로 탄약정비공장에서 개최되는 전시회와 올해 처음 시도하는 ‘홍천거리예술시즌제’ 사업 공연들을 홍천 미술 페스티벌과 연계, 시너지 효과를 극대화 시킬 계획이라고 전했다. 

허필홍 홍천문화재단 이사장은 “홍천 미술 페스티벌은 지난 3년간 홍천군에서 개최된 강원국제예술제 행사의 성과와 유·무형 자산을 활용한 어린이예술제 추진을 위한 첫 걸음”이라며 “홍천만의 독창적 문화예술 콘텐츠 개발과 확보는 물론 문화예술을 통한 지역재생, 문화예술 관광자원화를 통해 지역 경제 활성화를 이뤄낼 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
