[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 원주시는 코로나19 감염병 확산에 따라 올해도 민방위 교육을 비대면 스마트교육으로 전환해 실시한다고 밝혔다.

1~2년 차 대원은 4시간의 집합교육을, 3~4년 차는 2시간의 사이버 교육, 5년 차 이상은 1시간의 사이버교육을 받았어야 했으나, 올해는 모든 민방위 대원이 1시간의 사이버교육을 이수하면 된다고 했다.

지난 3월 21일부터 오는 7월 3일까지 PC 또는 모바일로 스마트민방위교육 홈페이지에 접속해 약 1시간 과정의 교육 영상을 시청하고 간단한 시험을 통과하면 이수할 수 있다고 했다.

단, 민방위기본법에 따라 제8회 전국동시지방선거 전 14일 동안(5월 19일부터 6월 1일) 교육이 일시 중단된다고 전했다.

교육 내용은 민방위 대원의 임무와 역할, 핵 및 화생방 대응, 생활안전에 유용한 감염병 예방, 인명구조, 응급처치, 소화 활동, 지진, 지진해일, 태풍, 해상안전, 폭염의 대응·수습·복구 체계 등으로 구성돼 있다고 했다.

또한, 코로나19로 혈액 보유량이 감소함에 따라 올해 실시한 헌혈증서를 제출하면 민방위 교육을 이수한 것으로 인정한다고 전했다.

원주시 관계자는 “모든 민방위 대원이 한 명도 빠짐없이 사이버 교육을 이수할 수 있도록 당부의 말씀을 드린다.”라고 말했다.
